Alerton

Founded in 1981 by three entrepreneurs, Alerton's name was created from their first names: Al, Clair and Tony. The company was founded to provide building automation systems (BAS) for any size commercial building.

Alerton is a industry leader in providing native BACnet HVAC control systems, security systems and smoke control systems. They were the first to manufacture and provide a control system based on the ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 135-2008. Why BACnet? BACnet opens the door to true systems integration. BACnet® is the industry's only truly open protocol. The difference between BACnet and other protocols that claim to be "open" is that BACnet was developed by a group of dedicated industry stakeholders and is extensively reviewed, maintained and revised by public committee. No single company or organization "owns" BACnet.

Blue Ridge Technologies
