The City of Lindsay, known as Central California’s Citrus Center, is a diverse, thriving agricultural community. At the center of the community is the Lindsay Unified School District. Lindsay USD is a forward-looking District that invites diverse technology ranging from the classroom to operations. In 2002, L&H Airco began work with the District, supporting a proprietary controls system that would eventually become obsolete. In 2009, the District wanted to build their replacement high school and looked to L&H Airco for an energy management system solution, not only for the new high school but to serve as the foundation for existing sites with obsolete systems needing replacement. Ultimately, the District chose Alerton and since then all sites converted to Alerton (or are in the process of being converted).
